Temerature controlled distribution

A known, and often problematic issue, is to keep an unbroken chill-chain for certain product groups. We take this problem seriously and have therefore established own-distribution for temperature sensitive products.

We possess a fleet of specially equipped distribution vans that operates all over Norway, some on dedicated routes, others on ad hoc assignments.

Each vehicle have two storage compartments that can be individually controlled, which makes it possible to offer both ambient and cold storage temperature (2-8 C) on the same transport.

The temperature during transport is duly controlled and logged, both in the vehicle and externally. Temprature, position etc. is monitored from the head office and all data is stored for future reference or control.

Our uniqe distribution service is a giant quality leap compared with todays practice among wholesalers, where i.e. both human and animal vaccines are distributed by standard post.

 EPN is setting the standards for future cold-chain distribution in Norway.
